My wife is a divorced kid from the seventies as well. Noe in her fourties, she still talks about it with hurt and dissapointment.

Being a child of divorce I can relate to this very much. I think adults during this time were very selfish and did whatever they wanted and didn’t think their actions would affect the kids. Well, they did, and do. I’m 42 years old and sometimes the ghosts still haunt me in many ways that I can’t even always explain. There is still a deficit for me at times.
